There is probably no greater despair a family faces than a terminal diagnosis. In the midst of grief and pain, you are forced to contend with decisions that have never crossed your mind, but, now, are the most consequential you may ever make.
There is hopefulness for peace, comfort and dignity. Hospice care.
We embrace hospice as a philosophy of care for patients nearing the end of life. Our professional staff is trained and experienced in symptom management and pain control. Activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing and eating are accomplished with assistance from nursing.
We understand the sensitivity surrounding issues related to dying. We welcome visits from your minister, pastor, priest or rabbi. Various religious services are scheduled regularly through our Activities Department.
Pairing with our staff, hospice organizations further enhance quality of life through additional staff visits, emotional support to families and patients, and bereavement care. Working closely with hospice organizations, we accept admissions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – even when it’s a same-day emergency.
For more information about our hospice care services and room accommodations for patients and family, please call our Admissions Department.
