2011 National Quality Award Winner
Essex of Springfield has been recognized as a 2011 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality National Quality Award presented by the American Health Care Association.
The National Quality Award Program is based on the core values and criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Program.
It’s been said that there is a town named “Springfield” in every single state in the USA. Perhaps this is believed because each Springfield has a home-away-from-home feeling. At Essex of Springfield, our 2011 National Quality Award Winning community is located in a rural, park-like setting. Wooden rocking chairs line our covered front porch, and both residents and guests enjoy listening to the chorus of birds that sing each morning. This is the home-like setting that allows our quality culture to thrive.
Springfield, a mid-sized town between Dayton and Columbus, offers our residents experiences for the senses. Brilliantly-colored perennial flower beds surround our home and courtyard and a myriad number of art galleries help local artists flourish. Residents can explore their talents through crafts, cards, movies, board games, music, church, live entertainment and more. Single and group activities occur daily, including weekends and evenings.
