Darlington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has been recognized as a 2011 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality National Quality Award presented by the American Health Care Association.
The National Quality Award Program is based on the core values and criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Program.

Our Community Features
Darlington is a 125-bed community which can accommodate up to 50 residents in quiet and comfortable private rooms. Each room has an electric bed, telephone and television, and each room offers views of our community courtyards.
Our Community Services
Darlington offers dually certified, skilled nursing care, and a wide array of services which include long-term care, hospice care, respite care services and specialized dementia/Alzheimer’s care through our carefully designed secure unit. Our rehabilitation team treats a wide variety of short-term and long-term residents with limitations from strokes, fractures, surgical replacement procedures and those who simply need extra encouragement.
Our Community Activities
Darlington offers a variety of activities which are created to meet the needs and capabilities of our residents. Activities include sensory stimulation, reminiscing groups, music and pet therapy, and exercise. Additional activities include outings (e.g. Toledo Zoo, Toledo Museum of Art, fishing, etc.), shopping trips, bingo, Wii Sports video games, arts and crafts, men’s and ladies’ nights and theme-based events.

Choosing the right nursing center can be a difficult decision for the potential resident and family. We understand the emotional process of placement and strive to help with the adjustment for both the resident and his or her family. In fact, many of our staff members have had relatives and friends choose our center because of our family atmosphere and quality nursing care services.
