Atrium is fully committed to maintaining all services critical to the welfare of our residents, their families and visitors to our facility. We continue to receive regular updates and advisories from public health agencies, understanding that information is ever-changing and evolving as more is learned about COVID-19. We have trust in the health care regulators in making these regulations in order to prioritize the safety and well- being of our patients, employees and families. Atrium Centers employees have been diligent in implementing and following the new guidelines despite the information and conditions changing by the minute. I am very proud of how resilient and committed they have been to our communities during these challenging times. We are very fortunate to have such caring and loyal employees on our team. Based on the CDC and CMS guidelines, for the safety of our residents and staff,
We are continuing to restrict all visitors and non-essential health care personnel.
Visitors will be allowed for certain compassionate care situations, such as an end-of-life situation. In those cases, visitors will be limited to a specific room only. For individuals that enter in compassionate situations (e.g., end-of-life care), you must contact the administrator to make an appointment. You will be required to perform hand hygiene and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as facemasks. Decisions about visitation during an end of life situation will be made on a case by case basis, and will include careful screening of the visitor (including clergy, bereavement counselors, etc.) for fever or respiratory symptoms. If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection (fever, cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat) you will not be permitted to enter the facility at any time (even in end-of-life situations). If your visit is permitted you must wear a facemask while in the building and restrict your visit to the resident’s room or other location designated by the facility. Please frequently perform hand hygiene and refrain from physical contact with residents and others while in the facility. For example, practice social distances with no hand-shaking or hugging, and remaining six feet apart.
Visitors, and any individuals who enter the facility (e.g., hospice staff), need to monitor themselves for signs and symptoms of respiratory infection for at least 14 days after exiting the facility. If symptoms occur, please self-isolate at home, contact your healthcare provider, and immediately notify the facility of the date you were in the facility, the individuals you were in contact with, and the locations within the facility you visited.
We appreciate your patience while we work hard to maintain the well- being of our residents and employees. We encourage you to keep in touch with your loved one via phone or Skype, please contact the administrator of the facility and they will be happy to assist you. We have had some creative visits with residents and visitors speaking via phone while looking at each other through the window. If this is something you would be interested, please contact the facility and they can make arrangements. We sincerely hope that these restrictions will be short lived and will keep you updated as circumstances change. Please make sure that your contact information has been updated. Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community is a 34-bed residence. Our community is small which allows our staff members to provide complete personalized care. Our patio and seating area is perfect for residents to enjoy a summer day, and our meals are just like mom used to make.

Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community is a skilled nursing community providing short-term rehabilitation, respite care, hospice care, and long-term care. All of our beds are dually certified as Medicare and Medicaid beds.
